I agree with your points, but I think most of the inventory problems could be cleared up by December. The numbers reflect the past not the present. Anyway more good news to chew on from these good ol' analysts...

RESEARCH ALERT- American Eagle
EPS raised

NEW YORK, Nov 18 (Reuters) - US Bancorp on Thursday said it
raised American Eagle Outfitters Inc.'s full year 2000 earnings estimate to $1.76 a share from $1.67.

-- American Eagle Wednesday reported higher third quarter profits of $0.50 a share, ahead of US Bancorp's forecast of $0.42.

-- Shares of American Eagle were up 7/32 to 41-15/16 on Nasdaq.

-- US Bancorp also raised American Eagles' full year 2001 estimate to $2.10 from $2.05 a share.
