Walter and Thread,

If anybody cares...

I voted in favor of the BOD recommendations regarding the increase in shares. With nearly a half billion in cash I hardly see them turning around and diluting out shares needlessly.

Projected capital expenditures have been addressed at prior c.c.'s and I think there is sufficient funds currently to indicate that we are serious about going forward with the Toshiba J.V. One even wonders if proof of sufficient cash for investment was a pre-requisite for further J.V. negotiations.

I think they are planning ahead to make decisions expediently without further voting.

I have found Eli and Co. to be frugal. Frugality is an important quality in my mind and is a clear signal of sensitivity to shareholder's expectations. (SanDisk does economize on non-core items such as the lack of expensive glossy photos in the annual report and straight forward instruction sheets in product packaging, for example.) They use cash for more useful things such as capital purchases, strategic acquisitions and legal defense.

FWIW, my vote is a vote of confidence supporting those directing this fine company.
