Well of course the relevant facts matter to the outcome of a case, as a general proposition. But whether Roe was raped was irrelevant to the outcome of Roe v. Wade.

I suppose you think it would make her somehow more sympathetic if she were raped. I find nothing in Blackmun's opinion to support a belief that the decision was based on sympathy. Quite the contrary. The Court's disinterest in Roe is almost clinical, or Olympian, in its detachment. She clearly represents a legal position, no more, no less.
