Announces Sale of Energy Drink Distribution Rights and Stock Dividend DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1999--Massimo Da Milano, Inc. (OTCBB:MDMI - news) announced today that is has sold its soft drink distribution rights to Overland Beverage Distributing, Inc., a beverage distributor that focuses on the sale of specialty drinks. Massimo Da Milano, Inc. will receive common stock in Overland Beverage Distributing, Inc. in exchange for the assignment of its (Massimo's) soft drink distribution rights in the continental United States. It is anticipated that this transaction will be completed before the end of the year. Massimo will distribute one-half of the Overland stock that it receives to its shareholders on a pro rata basis and will retain one-half of the Overland stock as a company investment. Massimo's President, Dana Verrill, stated: The sale of our soft drink distribution rights will free up the Company's management to devote more time to expanding our bakery sales and acquisitions as well as giving our shareholders an opportunity to profit by owning stock in a broader based beverage distribution concern.
