Dan, your words are inspiring. It seems that Brian wants to keep his concept of the Lord as his alone. In his mind, Brian feels qualified to judge who is to be selected for Heaven. All of the rest of us, know how wrong and un-Christian this concept really is. That is the main reason I have called him a disciple of satan. Whether he truly is from satan,or not, is immaterial. He is doing the work of satan by discouraging people to love God, and Jesus Christ, by saying that, if they are not already pre-chosen, they have no hope. This is, definitely, not the message of any Bible I have ever read, or been told about. Brian makes our duty to call people to the Lord more difficult and diminishes the results we might have.
BTW, he must not have seen the movie "Saving Private Ryan". Private Ryan was saved because a dedicated group of soldiers suffered hardship, and ultimately, death, to see that this young man could be returned to he mother who had already lost far too many sons. Ryan DID NOT FIGHT ALONE!!
As long as people like us are around, Jesus will NOT FIGHT ALONE! Brian has chosen to remain aloof from the rest of us, as if he considers himself a "cut above". And he tries to say there is no free will. His inconsistency strikes again.
