sure it does: Al has done his home-work long ago! Most if not all of Altera patents clearly deal with "on-site" or "customer programmable logic circuits". Well, CL hardly is on-site or customer programmable. I even heard rumors, that the mighty midgets Lennie and Rodny kind of set this up for a patent court venue fight-it-all-out to settle their dislikes. Well, in the meantime Lennie is all but gone, so Rod may hope for a favorable settlement or even more. Both tip-toe a great 5"6 or so... But then again, in Silicon Valley that may be the trade mark of a great CEO, Gifford - one of the very best - is hardly taller in his padded E-Type seat.
