That's not the thought that went into it, CB. There's this thing called revenge, and someone paying child support (especially a person like him) often tries to get even through a child. I'm surprised, in your infinite wisdom, that you didn't think of this yourself. She (my sister) decided to let him go unchained, so he wouldn't decide to do so at some point. He no longer has any rights to the child at this point, which is a relief. If I hadn't grown wiser with age, I would track him down and beat the hell out of him again. <g>
