Concerning what Munder NetNet thinks about Novell....

It is really helpful that a number of these portfolio managers haven't got a clue about Novell. If they had a clue then the run up which we saw this year to 31 might very well be all that the internet bubble market would give us.

Does anyone really think that these internet investments amount to much more than a dart at the board and momentum chasing at this point? Does anyone expect these managers to understand that Novell is developing a franchise with as much potential as Sunw in web servers, Cisco in routers etc.

They understand Sunw because of revenues from server sales that hey can trace back to ISV purchases. Novell hasn't shown this revenue yet. In fact it just announced e-Directory and the partnerships that will make NDS an internet directory standard.

Can anybody grasp what was announced over the last few days!!!

WE are now looking at a stock with every bit as much potential as Sunw had when ISPs began to blossom. Novell's potential revenue is all in the future. IT is doing well with Netware, it is adding caching revenues, and now in the future internet directory revenues.

Novell.com could very well be the biggest stock pick of the next several years. Once e-directory clicks anybody who bought the stock in this correction is going to really be happy.

Dump it! Not a chance. Had they not done what they did at COMDEX, had they not fulfilled the potential of business to business internet directory services, then yes dump it. But now they have a major new hold on a new market --- one that MSFT is very far away from.

Last but not least there is digitalme. This is the killer internet directory app. Novell is practically going to GIVE AWAY THE SOURCE CODE.

I mean you have to be really dense not to understand that this was like IBM publishing the OS code back in the DOS days. I wish I was still in the software business. I would be out there building a better digitalme than Novell and making a fortune with virtual communities!
