I can't speak to what might REALLY be happening, because I have no idea. But my perception of things is that our recent high valuation has a lot to do with future expectations. Future patents, future royalties, etc... This probably makes people skittish, and contributes to volatility. I suspect that HGSI follows other biotech and medical stocks, and gets dragged up or down generally with them - although I haven't done any research on this...
