Looks to me like there was a conspiracy to try and force the CPQ close @ 24 1/2 ... an important options $ that was mentioned in a post of yesterday. The pentultimate (pre 5:01) trade was small but @ 24 1/2, then the 5:01 trade (probably a cummulative one) was for 110K shares @ 24 1/2. Both far it was well below any previous trades ... hence my conspiracy theory. The effect of this could be very positive for someone/some-FM/etc. who was betting that CPQ would be @ or below 24 1/2 on options settlement day, therefore a loss by buying 110K shares @ 24 1/2 could have had a positive effect upon someone who would have to cover say 1Mil share above 25. Hope this was somewhat clear.

Fortunately, after-hours trading now has CPQ @ 25 1/8.

Unfortunately, after-hours trading is NOT over and the aforementioned conspiracy, if true, can effect later after-hours trades. I don't think I'm paranoid.
