Agilent IPO news From Barron's 8-Nov-99 : HP plans to distribute to stockholders the remaining 380 million shares it owns sometime next year. The ratios have yet to be established, but based upon the existing capital structure each HP share would get 0.37 Agilent shares. suite101.com All the pertinent info is also at HP's Website which is where I got the data for my calculation.
