[ISPs will get into DSL big time] Pat, I had a meeting with a PSINet sales rep today and at the end of the meeting I asked him if PSINet will offer DSL service. His response is typical of a sales type, but speaks volumes (IMHO). He said, "we are waiting for a standard to emerge". Now he was walking out the door so I could not grill him about what he meant by "standard", but I interpet it to be CAP vs. DMT. This news should also light a fire under the ISP's proverbial butts, especially since they (PSINet anyway) push Frame Relay heavily and DSL will cut deep into Frame Relay sales. I will see the rep next week and will try to glean more info from him. Regards tc
