He headed GE Silicones and Appliances. I worked on a project in Silicones when he was there. He is a mean cost cutting type of manager. He wasn't liked very well. However, he has a track record for turning the suffering businesses around, at least on a short term. When he left Silicones, the business took a dive and it took three years to make it back to where it was. MaPari
