Walker et al. have purchased two independent and relatively productive biotechs. He made a big deal out of positional cloning and being a "gene to product" company, and now the positional cloning is scrapped. He's gone from his empire building to fire sales and a restricted focus on oncology. Today's release really said it all...... the big candidate, after all of these wild gestures, is an oral inhibitor that was developed in Bayer's laboratories. I'm not saying that the company isn't a good investment. I'm saying that I'm so tired of this act that I don't want to watch any longer to determine if such is the case. What's the difference between an Ariad and a Sugen or between an Arris/Sequanna/Khepri and a Millennium? Luck? Foresight? Management.
