1. Bob's philosophy is to never let a single stock issue be more than 4% of total equities ON A COST BASIS. He does allow for more than 4% if the stock has gone way up and the cost basis is very low. In that case, better to hold than to pay the cap. gain taxes to Uncle Sam.
