M, I do not understand this market at all but we are in the most fearsome situation I have EVER seen or heard about in my entire life. I truly believe the people behind that 7 billion plus mutual fund flow this week are about to lose their collective shirts. All caveats apply including BWDIK, IMHO etc, etc, etc. I gained new respect for the Feds and AG this week when they raised rates and totally lost it with the investing public when the response was an incredible move up. My greatest fear is that the Feds have completely lost control over the financial processes in the country and the world. That means there is no power on this earth that can save the investor from himself... and worse yet, the financial health of the entire world. That being said, the big question now is, is this the last hurrah before the big one or the start of a new leg up? We have gone from irrational exuberance to financial insanity! (A hush comes over the crowd as I get down off my soapbox and disappear into a late-model Ford pickup and lurch off into the night!) <gggg> Bill
