Marketing Update:
SENCO ADVERTISEMENT TO AIR IN ONTARIO

VANCOUVER - Senco Sensors Inc. is pleased to announce that the Company
has completed the filming of its first television commercial. The
commercial is designed to meet three objectives: to build awareness of the
dangers of carbon monoxide, to outline how to prevent a CO emergency in the
home, and to emphasize the need for a reliable carbon monoxide alarm.

Featured in the Senco commercial is Brian Maltby, Director of Fire
Prevention for the City of Brampton. Maltby, along with Brampton Fire and
Emergency Services, is breaking away from tradition in Canada by publicly
endorsing a product from a specific manufacturer. He claims "It is
essential that families are protected from all household poisons, including
carbon monoxide. With the widely reported controversy on the reliability
of the CO alarms available we, at Brampton Fire and Emergency Services,
conducted a comprehensive evaluation of 27 different models of CO alarms,
and found Senco to be the best. The Senco CO alarm has proven itself to be
accurate and reliable, and I am confident in standing behind the product."

The first airing of Senco's television advertisement is planned to coincide
with Ontario's Carbon Monoxide Awareness Blitz, beginning on November 15th.
Fire departments in Canada have designated the first week in September each
year as "Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week", this year, Ontario has added a
second awareness week to reinforce the importance of the issue.

The Ontario Government has played a significant role in developing CO
awareness by encouraging legislation and by-laws in its municipalities. In
July 1993, Ontario became the first province to amend building codes to
require AC powered CO detectors in new homes. In November of 1998, the City
of Toronto enacted the first Ontario by-law to require all existing homes
and apartments with fuel burning appliances to install CO alarms. This
by-law has begun a trend across Ontario and similar by-laws have been
instated in Brampton, Orangeville, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oshawa,
Pickering and Mississauga while other communities, such as the Town of Ajax
are utilizing public education campaigns to raise awareness on the dangers
of carbon monoxide.

Senco Sensors Inc. is dedicated to becoming a major manufacturer of high
quality residential carbon monoxide detectors. The Senco Model ONE is
available at leading retailers throughout Ontario including Brampton Fire
and Emergency Services, Brampton Hydro, Home Depot, Home Hardware and Sears
Canada.
