Good grief. How about "No comment." guys? That was one helluva lot of backpeddling. That said......

The analysts [with their new targets] may be out front with their expectations of the ASP market, however, the market always front runs. In the case of emerging technologies or major paradigm shifts, it can run way ahead of real earnings. Witness the entire Internet sector. There is also the fuel added by the 800 lb gorillas [WinTel] and their noise about renting apps, running farms, etc., - which just adds more credibility to the ASP concept.

Within the last year some people were dismissing thin clients as another passing fad, yet they could not have been more wrong. It has entered practically every major domestic corporation, and they like what they see. There is every reason to expect the trend to continue.

Also, aren't we ordained to become a S&P500 stock next year? The index funds will all become buyers at some point. That's going to provide some nice support for the next few months.
