Intel has been a great company for a long time, but they've really dropped the ball this time around. They never took AMD seriously and it is Intel now trying to play catch up. They claim they have the fastest chip, but they're the ones having problems meeting demand now, not AMD. I've done some investigative work and even Dell says they can't guarantee when they can get you a 733 Floppermine, and what good is it if they can't team it with the i820 Rambust part? I've been reading most of these posts and each says there chip is faster according to such and such specs. By my judgement looks like the best value by far is AMD right now. The consumer is looking like they agree. Ed P.
