In hind-sight, the divestiture of Alta-Vista was handled really poorly. I think EF was right to criticize this move. Compaq getting all these CMGI shares but hasn't add a dime to us shareholder values. They should spinout Alta_VISTA like palm and cpq should be $40 by now !
