FROM TODAYS NEWS:

GLOBE & MAIL
Infowave Software (IW--TSE)
Friday, November 19, 1999

$5.90, up $1.62 Todd Carter, chief financial officer of the Burnaby, B.C.-based software company, linked the climbing stock price to eight presentations that Infowave made to institutions and analysts late last week in Toronto. 'I am pretty sure that some institutions have started to position themselves . . . to become investors in Infowave,' he told Dow Jones news service. He also suggested a general rise by wireless stocks might be carrying Infowave higher. Infowave stock set a 52-week high of $6.15 during yesterday's session, far ahead of the 95-cent low of last December. The shares traded as low as $3 as recently as Oct. 28.
