Blankmind: That is a Great Report, QXL.COM is in a class by themselves as a UK Internet company. Freeserve is only operating in the UK. QXL flew by them in terms of share value and in European expansion. Somebody in QXL.com is very clever the way they mastermind the total European takeover in Internet auction. They even have a major jump on the American giant, eBay in Europe. Like was said, eBay moved in 6 months too late and 3 months equals 1 Internet year. So in other words, eBay was 2 Internet years late during this crucial period. Plus it looks like eBay may have peaved everyone off in Europe by running their auction in American dollars instead of showing some respect like QXL who operate in 5 languages and 5 currencies. All of Europe must have appreciated this QXL gesture. Let's hope QXL becomes the "hometown favorite" of Europe. QXL during this period of their life, must focus totally on becoming a household name in Europe. The rest will follow! FreeServe is loaded down with shares outstanding. From what I can gather 115 million. The few shares that QXL has compared to that is awful tempting for me to pick up a few more. Any Canadian that had the nerve or guts to pick up 1000 eBay shares last fall at US$16.00/share would have made $1 million Canadian dollars in 8 months. US$670.00/sh. x 1.5 (Exc.) = 1 million Canadian dollars. Not bad for less than a year's work, hey!
