Glenn, If Cisco were to take a run at Newbridge they would have to win. That's why I expect CSCO to deny any interest in NN when they inevitably get asked the question. NT is in the same boat. I really can't see NT or CSCO making as move for NN. That leaves ERICY, ALA, SIEMENS, TLABS. ALA and SIEMENS have already said they won't buy NN. That leaves ERICY and TLABS. TLABS has said they will buy someone, but for uner $1 billion. That leaves ERICY. This dog won't go fast. They need to show next gen product first. It is kind of creepy to see NN finally admit that they can't win alone and that they need to be a part of a bigger company. Haven't certain people been saying that on this thread for 2 years now ??? So here's how I'm playing this. Wait till it hits a top on speculation ($26-$28 range). Short when the markets realize this won't happen next week back down to low 20s. This will be a fun ride....
