Watching IPOs in the States take off like rockets probably inflated some expectations for this IPO. European IPOs are more Renault than rocket. An article I read on the prospect of investing in this IPO cited a couple of new issues that were up 15% since May and another 60% in a year as 'potential' gains. This shooting to 50 wasn't in the cards. Still, the fact remains that PLCO through ToysInternational has $100+ million more in cash and asset value than it did last night, and that's more than I make all week... GB
