I have mixed feelings about all the identity information displayed on the new pages.

On one hand, I agree that having that stuff displayed is a risk. However, the only risk is from people looking at your screen or in your computer. The information that is displayed there is ALREADY sent over the Internet - it's just hidden from you.

I actually use the account number that is displayed there. If I have to call Datek on the phone, more often than not the handiest place where I can find my account number is on the screen.

I can't imagine someone forgetting their user ID after they've already logged-in, though. So, I'd vote for removing it, if only because I can't see a need for it. Removing unneeded stuff is good for both security and efficiency.

The only reason I can see for leaving it would be if someone is trading in multiple accounts (IRA and non-IRA, for example, or perhaps managing someone else's account) and it might help sort out the accounts. Naaawwww, your name is already there, and I presume IRA accouants are marked as such.

Toss it. And get rid of the logo, too - at least now I'm not the only one wanting to get rid of the logo!
