I just have the experience, that in cases like this , the conversion can take 6 months to longer, given certain small print the company has at hand. If the transfer agent is swift and dilligent it could happen sooner. But chances are slim, and you will be out the certificates during that time. The E type will convert sooner, and that should be an indication, which I am following. I own mostly C and only a few P's for fun. Even today , the C's got more upward movement than the P's. So far .
