I've never seen an example of flipping back and forth for enterprise software apps that have been implemented correctly have you? Take a simple space like crm... once its in, its in, only a few disgruntled customers move between vendors - the purchasing interfaces to receiving and payables need to be done in-house presumably, customers will have to toss that custom code... I can't see it happening (much).
