Yes...but the cad/cam stream pays the bills while they grow windchill.... just like williams companies gas business has bought them a fiber network twice now... it's a synergy, not a handicap depending on your point of view....secondly....if you have virtually a 100 percent growth rate on windchill qtr to qtr...and you have an expectation that 3 years or so down the road cad/cam would not be ptc's central focus (hell they might even get rid of it)....and mgmt is smart enough to grow windchill into an even bigger market beyond the immediate (there's a question mark).......well.... it's a whole different set of factors isn't it.... and of course hard to then value at all in as much as there exist multi-billion dollar companies whose assets and debt pale in comparison to ptc's....yet haven't earned a single penny....but they are given credit for the rapid growth in over all revenues.... so....how many qtrs out do you go.... well....obviously starting at 14$ a share....going out enough to double the stock in 4 weeks could have easily been an argueably sure bet.... is it a three banger or better by june 2000 dec 2000... is it worth 60 now or in 2001. I suppose that will need some work... or it won't if the focus stays on windchill and they double up next year with 160+ in sales.
