While the lady in question is obviously a married person, she is still a person in her own right and deserves to be so recognized. If she is unhappy with the honorific "Ms." I'm sure she will have no reservation concerning informing me of that fact. If and when she does, I'll apologize to her and subsequently use whatever she wants.
In the meantime, since she appears to be an adult person, you can just butt out of any discussion we may have. I don't think she needs your protection and I certainly don't think you can provide it.

The dietary habits of canines of all ilk are quite similar in that they enjoy the consumption of human feces when available. You can deny this all you like but spend a couple of weeks in the wild with any dog you like, observe its feeding habits, and you will come to the realization that your selection of a name by which you wish to be known in these discussions was an apt choice, regardless of its origins.
