IBM's CFO *always* talks pessimistically, Roger. IBM has lots of money for acquisitions. Other companies potentially eyeing Novell as a takeover candidate include Hewlett-Packard, Sun, and even Berkshire Hathaway. If/when IBM announces a tender offer for Novell stock, another suitor may jump in the same day with a higher bid. Interesting thought, isn't it? You give the impression, Roger, that you want Novell's stock to drop in price or at least stay below $15. Are you betting against Novell? Will you make money if the stock price doesn't climb?
