Leonard Nemoy is working on a project with AENTV due to begin this month as well. Recent 10Q: clearstation.com Ampex is also the parent company of Ampex Data Systems: ampexdata.com and Micronet micronet.com They currently offer the largest and fastest mass storage devices on the market today. My reason for being an Ampex investor is due to the huge emerging market in data storage. With the onset of HDTV and VOD the market for these high capacity storage facilities will be tremendous. Ampex then excited me with its transformation to an Internet Holding Co. Most Ampex holders believe and IPO of these holding will occur in year 2000. In addition, Ampex has announced a proprietary breakthrough in streaming media of which the details have not been released. The news of this breakthrough has the normally conservative CEO very excited. Recent months of the stock trading has been suppressed by the dumping of holdings buy Evergreen due to internal necessity. They completed the sale of all holdings last week and the stock price jumped immediately. It would appear that one of the buyers during this period was: smartmoney.com The market has yet to realize the transformation that has taken place. The market still sees Ampex as a Data Storage unit. Ampex is poised as a World Wide Internet Video play!!!
