Just spoke to my buddy at Goldman Sachs. They use TIBCO extensively in the IT dept at GS. Apparently, the first big break for TIBX was a Goldman contract with Rubin while he was still a trader there.

Anyway, the opinion is that there's nothing out there that comes close.
