10 Star* Slidacious Pick - OEI 60%+ here; 40% limit @ $8,turn margin full throttle @ $7 if seen... Load thy ark; OEI off of their recent discoveries, debt reductions and the best offshore portfolio in the bizz (stolen from SGO (VBG) for their size; is THE SCREAMING - POUND THE TABLE BUY here... I will be a bit more aggressive on the margin personally - at $8; loaded at $8-8 1/16th earlier and hoping it comes back to $8 once again. - will be my #1 holding by a large measure fwiw; on a return to $8. An anomaly; very leveraged to crude oil; the weakness in nat gas will not affect OEI nearly as much as most E&P's here. Dain Rauscher had an earlier "Crude Oil" leveraged call with OEI as its strongest buy; along with VPI - who has moved nicely here. NEV - allthough, poorly hedged in crude for a while yet; it the most leveraged name that we've followed here, to crude prices and crude production vs. gas. Ocean Energy - it's NIKE time Baby ! ... just do it ~ PS Peter Lynch and I; "both" couldn't be wrong on the same stock... impossible (VBG). Bouncer to $11, fair value given crude prices & prospects should be $13-14 here imho - in relation to continued developing story of debt reduction and a production turnaround in Q1-2 2000; analyst targets are $15-$19 here. I see $16+ in 2 qtrs max. Pappy; I got mo PXD as well... very leveraged for ea $1 increase in commodity prices to NAV. - this is "THE" sleeper imho...
