Caxton, that guy is worried about royalties. < Looking to the future, Joy said that intellectual property rules need to be developed that offer "a sensible blend between sharing and (ownership that provides incentives) to people who are creating the value" in new technologies. > He is lining Qualcomm up for a trip through Judge Jackson's house of mirrors when he has finished with Microsoft and needs something else to keep his salary and perks streaming in. It's undeniable that Qualcomm has a hugely profitable monopoly, which is taking money from consumers and therefore hurting them. There is NO competition in IS95 or descendants CDMA - Mighty Q! is the sole proprietor of the technology. ALL must pay to Q! to use it. Much bigger monopoly than Microsoft's. What's more, Q! is leveraging that monopoly into other monopolies such as Globalstar, the sole and exclusive user of Q! CDMA in space, OmniTRACS which is the sole and exclusive user of Q! CDMA in tracking and information systems for vehicles/boats etc.

Now Q! is leveraging their monopoly into the WWeb!! And money via 724 Solutions. Movies too via CineCom

If people like reading a lot of stuff.... siliconinvestor.com

Don't say you weren't warned. The cargo-cultists will be drooling over Q! wealth as soon as it pops onto their radar screens.
