Here is the story on the "E" as I have heard it from various sources:

Heartsoft held back its filings in order to let the auditors mull over whether the Canadian deal last year really left the company with a $1m liability. Turns out it didn't, so the filings were corrected and went in on the last day possible, last Monday.

The intermediary that was to get the files to the SEC had a printing problem sometime during the week. This delayed the papers from getting to where they needed to be until ten minutes before it would have been too late. Eleven minutes later, and HTSF would have been sporting an E today.

Yahoo even went so far as to change HTSF to HTSFE.OB, but it never traded under that symbol.

It was a VERY near thing. But Heartsoft is fully reporting, and that's a fact! It's a very good way to start the weekend.
