CyberShop.com Enhances Email Marketing Capability


Online Retailer Signs Agreement with Exactis to Manage its Email Marketing
Program

JERSEY CITY, N.J, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- CyberShop.com(R), Inc.
(Nasdaq: CYSP), a leading online retailer of designer apparel and home
furnishings (http://cybershop.com), announced today it has signed an agreement
with Exactis.com (Nasdaq: XACT) to manage its email marketing program.
CyberShop.com will now be able to send personalized text and HTML emails to
its large subscriber base, promoting weekly specials and popular merchandise.
The enhanced quality and personalization features of these emails will allow
CyberShop.com to build upon their customer relationships and promote brand
loyalty. At the end of the third quarter, CyberShop.com reported a cumulative
customer count of 396,144.

Under the terms of the agreement, Exactis will manage, track and advise
CyberShop.com on email delivery, content and design to optimize email campaign
effectiveness. CyberShop.com will send weekly HTML, plain text and AOL
compatible emails to its subscribers, notifying them of weekly sales and
merchandise with embedded hyperlinks which allow the subscriber to click
through onto the product page of CyberShop.com. Shoppers can opt-in to
receive CyberShop.com emails from the home pages at (http://www.cybershop.com)
and (http://www.electronics.net).
"Email is the single largest online activity on the Internet and critical

offers which are more compelling and generate twice the response rate, enhance

According to Jupiter Communications, email is the most popular Internet
activity with 96% of users using the application at least once a month. With
a busy holiday season approaching, email marketing and effective communication
with customers is critical to both preserving customer loyalty, building brand
image and acquiring new customers.

Actually, this is the efficent way to get revenue. Buying portal space is very expensive. CDNOW and AMNZ send me e-mail all the time.
