TP, The DDR SDRAM solution will be fully viable before the middle of next year. It's inconceivable to me that any of the major OEMs will allow the others to offer a superiour solution at a lower cost. That just doesn't happen in this sector. Least cost, highest performance wins. It's as close to being a commodity decision as it can get. Even if RMBS were to drop royalties to zero (with the catastrophic affect on earnings), there are still far too many limitations and defects in their architecture for RMBS to ever gain a fraction of the market share its supporters dream it will capture.
