Lattice is a mediocre play at best. The CEO, Cyrus Tsui, drummed out of AMD, and has tried to make a name for himself at Lattice. Careful at managing the purse strings but lacking vision, CT has managed to bring a respectful return for investors. But lack of growth for such a relatively young company should lead the astute investor to search for more furtile pastures. FPLA products, although late, are doing well. The PLD business, soon to be abandoned by AMD, is Lattice's mainstay and may evaporate at any time. Lattice makes feeble attempts to engage new markets such as programmable analog or ethernet, but actual performance may be characterized as lame at best.
