The MSFT court case had nothing to do with WIND's recent buoyancy. WIND has been going up because of:

1. Fiddler's stellar management of the CEO transition.
2. WIND's aggressiveness since Abelmann left (i.e., refocusing its business on new opportunities in high-growth Internet-related markets and professional services consulting; and acquiring a dominant market share position by acquiring INTS).
3. The company's recent statements that it will be a $1 billion company in the next three years, another post-Abelmann development.
4. The decline of Windows CE as a potential threat.
5. A thaw in the i2O-standards cold war.
6. Post-PC, Internet appliance hype.
7. The repositioning of WIND as a company that stands to benefit from the Internet explosion (see #s 2, 3 and 6).
8. A galloping bull market that has been especially kind to technology stocks.

In short, a lot of things have gone right for WIND in the last two months.
