R.M.C., with respect, didn't Strathcona's report, (which has been thought to refer to Freeport's drilling), say that things were *overstated* ? If Strathcona's pronouncement DID refer to Freeport, and your assumptions are correct about Freeport's methods, we are in BIG BIG trouble.... because they would have been overstating numbers which should have been larger...?

If on the other hand, Strathcona was referring to Bre-X's way of doing things, we are back to the question of why Strathcona spoke out after only a few days on the job.

Am I missing something, or am I recalling Stratcona's pronouncement incorrectly?

With regards,
Jeff Smith
