Spliff, RDRAM out of Timna? What about this word from Intel VP at COMDEX: Gelsinger said Timna includes a 0.18-micron version of the Pentium III microarchitecture along with a Direct Rambus memory controller and 3-D graphics core. Others said it, or a companion south bridge chip, may include audio and even Ethernet support. Gelsinger said the blocks on the design have been fixed and details will emerge at the company's developer forum in February. eetimes.com -- jack
