CCC, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. All the news you stated is well in the stock already. A fund manager on CNBC said yesterday that he wouldn't own RAD on a bet. His perogative. I have a small position in RAD, am well aware of the risks, and feel the potential reward outweighs the risk. This is the nature of investing.
I bot CD (Cendant) at 20 and added more at 8 and 10, when funds were abandoning it in droves because of "accounting irregularities". Stock is now 16 1/2, and traded back above 20. I am holding CD for an eventual move back to 30-40.
RAD is a major drugstore chain with valuable assets in its existing perscription business, locations, and franchise. It may well go belly-up, or it may stabilize under Green's management, and either regain some luster or be sold. I am comfortable risking some money for a significant reward. This is called investing. Larry
