BT investors back 13bn stg MCI deal
WORLD - British Telecom yesterday won shareholder approval for the 13bn stg takeover of MCI,the American long-distance telephone company. About 98.5 per cent of shareholders voted in favour of the deal, which creates a company to be called Concert, the world's fourth largest
telecoms group.
