Hello! Here I am again. Have been reading volumes about hemp after clicking www.congrowpro.com Couldn't get new web site - don't have "flash plug-in installed in browser" - but there's much info that can be read just with web/tv. Today I read about 100 or so people that are knowledgable about hemp that are studying how to replace petroleum based chemicals with plants as the main building blocks upon which the material needs of our society are met. Their goal is to replace 10% of the petroleum chemicals by 2020 & 50% by 2050. I spend a lot of time driving on major highways of the U.S. Folks in the oil business say that there is (of course) a finite supply of oil in planet earth, but that it will last a L-O-N-G T-I-M-E. Some say there is enough oil to last another century. I believe that all the cars,bikes,buses,18 wheelers, trains, ships, river boats, power plants. etc. are going to deplete the oil sooner than that. I hope the oil runs out before petroleum based fertilizers & herbicides contaminate the soil & water & air 'till life is impossible. If I were a little younger I'd join the Woody Harrelson fan club.
