Herm, Dan, Ryan, and the gang,

Hi there. I haven't checked in here in quite a while, so I thought I would take the opportunity to a) say hello, b) check y'all's opinions on ROST, c) give y'all a brief update on my activities, and d) say thanks.

a) and b) are pretty well taken care of. I might try entering ROST via a sale of Dec.puts.

You folks may recall my exciting ride with Edify, which I detailed here for a while. That finally worked out OK, and I am now the owner of a few hundred shares of SONE, which bought EDFY, and have sold calls against it, too. I am pretty comfortable with this bigger viper, because I think I understand its trading patterns, having followed it most of the year -- at least with respect to where its bottoms are.

I also mentioned that in a while I would have a lot more dough to play with because of an inheritance, and that that should make my investing for a living much easier. I got that a long month ago, and have applied WINS strategy to good effect: the liquidation value of my account is up 18% already! I don't expect that pace to continue, but it's a hell of a start.

So thanks to those who have tutored me and held my virtual hand, particularly to you, Herm. What's your favorite champagne? Where would I ship it?

Cheers & Happy Holidays, Tuck
