Dell is a lot bigger than a law firm. Imagine putting the "Dell" name on these pagers, and perhaps bundling it with their computers? That would be very attractive. Pehaps Dell want to give away or at least sell at a reasonable price the pagers in return for becoming a service providor, with recurring income, a cash cow. Let's see, in return for signing up for DelNet Internet Service that INCLUDES the RIMM pager with a link to the INternet, they would give a substantial rebate. What about that? That's what I think. Michael Dell has said service is the name of the game, and this is a great way to get into it. IMO. Face it, 99% of investors have still not heard of RIMM, but they sure know Dell. Sounds good to me.
