The first thought is a no-brainer: Softbank (SFTBF) of Japan, the Japanese CMGI. They have an enormous lead over any Japanese company in the Internet sector and they are aggressively pursuing opportunities in other areas with numerous US heavyweights, e.g., Microsoft.
