what do you mean "informed sources".

You posted the press release. I just referenced it. The release sounded reasonable to me. Perhaps a little high at 33. But otherwise, reasonable.

You know my history very well. I was and I am still positive on NN,

No doubt. And I only try to balance your enthusiasm with what I believe is a more realistic scenario.

you are that most "dangerous" poster on this thread.

You are paranoid. Am I dangerous because I believe NN has problems, problems that will yield it a lower price at "auction" than you think?

you claim that you are long on NN, at least based on takeover and at the same time you have been posting over the last two week much more frequently that any other bull on this thread and started big anti NN campaign.

I am long this stock. I was previously long the stock, hedged with puts, prior to the pre-announce. I was very positive about the stocks prospects at 25-29 after the previous quarterly release. But even then, months ago, I started posting that in my view, that "wonderful" quarter was tainted. Tainted by a questionable balance sheet. When the stock broke down below 24.5, I hedged my long position with cheap "20" puts. I continued to post that these balance sheet issues were scaring me. You, Pat, and the rest of the unrelenting faithful paid no attention. As it turned out, NN warned. Those puts saved my ass.

Then we got a chance to see this quarter's balance sheet. Low and behold, the items I pointed out in the "good" quarter that needed to be watched; AR, inventory, DSOs; all got much worse, when management promised us they would be fixed quickly.

I use these issues for one reason only. To help support my view that NN will not be taken over at some 100% or greater premium to its price, that many here think. Would I like this? Of course. Will it happen? I can't rationalize how.

You would assert that the 50G and 450G, and LMDS, and 3dsl are so attractive to any acquirer that the business fundamentals will be outweighed. But these products are all bet on the future. And none of these products will generate any significant revenue for 6-12 months. A lifetime in this industry right now.

I'm sorry if this offends you, but we are on the same side. We only differ in what price we think NN is worth to a buyer. The reality is, when a buyer comes to purchase a mature business, unless the business is fundamentally sound this will impact the company's worth. And the reality is that you and I and the rest of the world know only what managment has told us about the 50 and 450. The fact the company is putting itself up for sale prior to any customer even seeing these switches, smacks of desperation to me. Why not wait a few months to "advertise" you are for sale? Do you have an answer for that?

you are long on NN, and would like to get that best price but at the same time try to proof that NN is worth less, using speculative assumption like " informed sources said NN wants 40US, or
saying that 50gig will not leapfrog other for long time
b/c 450 will be deliver with delay, like 36190, knowing that
36190 is Siemens job where 50 and 450 is NN product.

I truly want to get 40 or 50 or 60 per share. But I just think there are too many things that point to a lower price. Things you choose to ignore.

As I stated you posted the "informed source" article. I just thought it was probably accurate, and posted a response as such.

When I posted the 36190 comment, you know full well that it was I, months ago that pointed out to you, that this was not a NN developed product. The comparison to the 450 imo was appropriate. The 450 promises to truly leapfrog the competition. Not just an incremental leap like the 50. But a quantum leap. I choose not believe this kind of hype until its at least in a customer trial. And from what I understand, this is a minimum of 6 months away. Way too long for guys like you, to hype on a public forum imo.

Yes occasionally I will attack LU, but not 5-6 times a day like you, who is long!!!!!! on NN and tring to put negative spin, using any possible mean.
We do not have to talk every day about missteps of NN management, b/c it is obvious.

I often raise doubt about stocks I am long. I am always skeptical of management. NN makes it easy to be skeptical of its management. I'm glad you at least agree with this.

You sound like big short or LU PR employee

Wrong and wrong. I have never shorted a stock outright, with the exception of AMZN, a long time ago. Obviously, not my best move. And I don't work for LU. But I do like to point out when people post inaccurate "technicals" that I know to be inaccurate. I think this benefits the thread rather that harms it.

Good luck.
