Mike; I must be totally missing something here

Before the TV Guide sale there was the possibility of 2 guides

Now there will be only one company marketing guides and whoever is supplying the programing would also supply the guide, with their programing plugged in no?

Wouldn't it be just another station supplied to the TV?

I'm thinking EPG's, of coarse with IPG's (which is where the revs are supposed to be) there would be modems, keyboards and whatever else makes it "interactive".

My point is that Gemstars EPG's will probably only work on some systems, they may not work on TV Guides existing offerings.

So I'm just guessing that we will not have an industry standard until the IPG's become available, Until the standard is established, and Tornado's, the whole thing will be a mess and no "significant" revs will be realized.

You also need a Pretty Big screen for those little ad's to be effective.
