TO Alexander et al: I recommended/bought OO near 9, and MGX under 8., as a "package" recently, because both were located in same city, and samilar chart patterns, similarly depressed, in similar ind. group type, etc....but, seriously, I use very LITTLE fundamentals, i.e., I found, that "earnings" and such are historically of little or NO "useable, direct-price-predictive-value"....think about it....when MGX and OO were near their highs, weren't all the "experts/media" Bullish on them ? they said both would "grow" fast(er), etc. Then, as usual, as I found out (with my "PSYCLE sm" concept going back studying decades past, looking at thousands of past historical examples), AFTER stocks got killed, and formed depressed BASES (one key I teach to look for), all those "experts" becaume normally bearish.... right ? please understand, "how they are doing as a company" often has LITTLE or no bearing, on how their STOCK price moves....really....this is one of the secrets of success when investing/trading....but most people do not believe this, which is why many people don't do as well, right ? I mean, for instance, both OO and MGX continued to report higher "sales and/or earnings", but their stocks were already falling ....think about that....hey, we have all seen this happen countless times....so, the best way I know how to help you, is to show you exactly how most stocks move, over time, in reality.....it took me years to learn to do this well....now I am sharing my knowledge (with occasional small, cut losses along the way, of course) to help others, gratis.... last, no guarantees of course, but, OO projects to near the 14-15 200 day MA area resistance, also "gap" area.....and, MGX projects towards maybe it's 12-13 resistance....decent pot. gains, on margin, with stops below recent lows, diversified....my avg. hold period, has tended to be in the 2-4 month area, unless cutting a loss, or taking quick, large gain....hope this helps....you may e-mail me anytime qwith questions, needs, take care, and thanks for the input.... |
